Beacon

Beacon is a digital supply chain and freight platform with the mission to help businesses simplify and optimise their supply chains with end-to-end visibility, payments, and insights.

I joined Beacon during its early start up phase and focussed on building a new customer facing platform involving three fundamental sections. The transformation of complex freight forwarding data to provide an intuitive UI to track the movement of goods; a fintech service loaning money to pay suppliers and freight forwarding costs; a SASS offering to provide tracking and insights for customers internal and external freight movements.

With my keen interest in UI I felt it was necessary to drive the build of a stable design system early on, which paid off quickly as the team scaled.
